We are a network group of churches ready to show God's Love by helping victims in times of crisis.

We've all heard those words before and now you can help without spending a fortune. Disaster Recovery represents a critical area that impacts all Americans. In times of disaster, people in our communities turn to their local churches for help. And by networking with other churches you're showing God's Love by helping victims in times of crisis!

How Does ChristianDisasterHelp.org Work?

Christian Disaster Help is a network of churches communicating to determine needs in a time of disaster and providing help during the recovery. This website is desiged to be the Hub of communication for all aspects and needs during a time of recovery. We do not want e-mails flying around to each other, leaving a gap in communication between networked churches. When everyone tries to help during disaster time by just sending what they gather together, it creates a larger disaster with many items that are not needed.

  • Any member church needing assistance as a result of a disaster such as hurricane, wild fire, tornado, flooding, terrorist activity, etc. can post on this website their needs to the networked churches by logging into our Forum.

  • Networked member churches will log into the Forum during disaster times to see what the current needs are and be able to inform the other churches of which areas of help they are providing. We also have a Volunteer and Donation Form that people can submit with the types of things and/or services they can donate and help with.

  • Member churches then may communicate to the contact person of the needy church to coordinate delivery of the services, goods or help. With this system churches can indicate specific needs and we can spend our money and efforts in a much smarter and efficient manner! It's all about people helping people reaching the needs of the victims!

There are two types of member churches in the network:

* One is the church who only wishes to assist other member churches in a time of need. All they need to do is repond with donations or a team of workers when receiving a request.

* The second type of church will not only serve as a provider of goods and services to other churches, but will also serve as a distribution point in their area in time of disaster.

If you would like someone to come and explain the program to your group of elders, or join the network, please contact Pam Gallatin at pamgall@comcast.net .
You can also sign up in our Forum and post or reply to messages as well.
