Who We Are?
What We Do?
We meet the needs of a disaster victim in time of crisis with toiletry items, cleaning supplies, clothing, food, first aide, counseling, prayer, cleanup, repair, contact insurance companies, whatever their immediate needs are.
When We Do It?
We are there after devastation from hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, flooding, etc. has ended and it is safe to return.
Where?
A church within the network close to or at the disaster site.
Our Plan of Action
In times of disaster, people in our communities turn to their local churches for help. This is the very reason our network must plan how to respond to these people. We are the tools used by God to serve others and be an example and influence into his kingdom.
By preparing before a disaster strikes, you will be able to get familiar with your local EmergencyOperationsCenter, Red Cross, and many other non profit organizations that will be of assistance. Prior communications with these organizations will enhance your ability to minister in your community by informing them of your plan of action.
The plans should include ministries such as a food pantry, clothes closet, construction, cleanup, professional services and financial assistance.
Your church must have its plan in place to prevent the scrambling of what to do and who will be involved when the disaster strikes.
